Brunswick Square
A Grade 1 listed apartment in Brighton and Hove’s iconic Brunswick Square, situated over three floors including a roof terrace. Arior were brought in to remodel the apartment to reflect the clients’ lifestyle – the brief was to add a contemporary feel, while at the same time bringing back some of the regency features that had been lost over years of unsympathetic refurbishments.
The home was turned on its head to include a top floor sitting room with bar and access to the west facing roof terrace giving the perfect spot to enjoy the beautiful Hove sea view and sunsets. New arched windows and door to the roof terrace enhanced the property architecturally.The small back kitchen was moved through to the front of the property with sea views to be enjoyed while cooking and dining. Clever design on the large landing of the middle floor provided bespoke joinery with a panelled finish; this space included the washing machine, tumble dryer and housing for utility storage. The master bedroom was wallpapered in grasspaper in a dark colour and with beautiful bespoke wardrobes in a dark grey oak with a pop of teal colour inside. The remodelling on the middle floor created space for a new en-suite shower room for the master bedroom.
The total refurbishment of the lovely large family bathroom on this floor included a walk-in shower and large feature black bath with a backdrop bold and brave patterned wallpaper for a cosy effect.
